Day 1: Arrival in Tbilisi – Introduction to the Ancient Capital


Arrival at Tbilisi International Airport, where you will be greeted by a representative of our company. Transfer to your hotel for check-in.

After breakfast we head toDiscover Georgia’s capital, where history, culture, and modern life come together.

Narikala Fortress – an ancient fortress overlooking the entire city and the Mtkvari River. You can reach it by cable car or on foot.

Old Town (Altstadt) – cobblestone streets, traditional houses with wooden balconies, cozy cafes, and artisan shops.

Sameba Cathedral (Holy Trinity Cathedral) – one of the largest Orthodox churches in the world, impressive for its architecture and spiritual atmosphere.

Metekhi Church & Bridge – a historic church with a stunning view over the Mtkvari River.

Uplistsikhe – an ancient cave city located in the Mtkvari River valley. Uplistsikhe is a unique blend of architectural and historical wonders, where you can experience the spirit of old Georgia, explore ancient temples, palaces, and preserved dwellings. The site also provides stunning views over Gori and the surrounding mountains.

Return to Tbilisi.
