📍 Day 1: Tbilisi – Tsalka (Dashbashi Canyon) – Vardzia – Khertvisi – Akhaltsikhe (Rabati Castle)
Your adventure begins in Tbilisi, Georgia’s charismatic capital where ancient history meets modern charm. Stroll through the Old Town, admire Narikala Fortress, and visit Sioni and Sameba Cathedrals.
Then set off towards the dramatic Dashbashi Canyon. A scenic 3 km trail leads to a stunning waterfall surrounded by lush nature.
Next, uncover the secrets of Vardzia, a 12th-century cave monastery carved deep into a cliffside. The site comes alive as you hike through its tunnels and chapels (approx. 90-minute visit).
En route, pause at Khertvisi Fortress, an ancient stronghold dating back to the 2nd century BC.
End the day in Akhaltsikhe with a visit to the fairy-tale Rabati Castle, a beautifully restored medieval complex (45-minute visit, or up to 2 hours with museum tour).

📍 Day 2: Akhaltsikhe – Green Monastery – Borjomi

📍 Day 3: Borjomi – Gori – Ananuri – Stepantsminda (Kazbegi)
Head north through the heart of Georgia. Your first stop is Gori, birthplace of Joseph Stalin — explore the museum that tells the story of one of history’s most controversial figures.
Next, visit the majestic Ananuri Fortress, overlooking the brilliant blue waters of Zhinvali Reservoir.
By evening, arrive in Stepantsminda, a quiet village nestled beneath the towering Mount Kazbek.

📍 Day 5: Stepantsminda – Mtskheta – Tbilisi
On your return journey, stop in Mtskheta, the ancient capital of Georgia and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Visit the serene Jvari Monastery (6th century), perched high above the confluence of the Aragvi and Mtkvari rivers — a place where history and landscape blend in perfect harmony.
Return to Tbilisi, where your journey ends — or begins again.
